Thanks for the link some interesting analysis there. I posted this another thread but I'll repeat it here as its more appropriate in this thread. Did you listen to Tim Vickery's comments on five live last night. He's the BBC's South American football correspondent and they got him on the air to speak about Denis Stracqualursi. He said that the track record of goal scorers who come into the premiership straight from the Argentine top division is really poor as the step up is a massive one and then finished off by saying he thought it was a real gamble. He did not sound convinced that he would make it at all.
I think your analysis tells us why he might have made those comments.

All signs point to jarg for this guy and for our football with him in the side.

I'd love to be wrong however. But right now I'm dividing my hope between Royston and Ross.

Well ive just read this on twitter.

everton1878fcEverton Blog - New signing Denis Stracqualursi was the subject of a £7m bid by Napoli over the Summer. Fiorentina and Catania were also interested.

Surely that wouldnt be the case if he was just some mug.

Yeah, but if that's true how the hell do we have him on loan?!

To the tune of Mercy by Duffy.....

Give it to Denis Stracqualursi

why won't you release him
