That's my view on it if he's looking to step up higher than us from Fulham. Which is what I said from the off. Going to us is not like going to a Spurs etc.

But its like you said, depends if no one rates him higher. And like I said before, depends who's interested in him.

I've never said it in context of club stature.

Martyn was second fiddle to Paul Robinson at Leeds, and second fiddle to Richard Wright for us till he got injured. Howard wasnt United class (that Champos League game when cocked up and went all torrets mental). Saha was dead at United and mega injury prone at 30 odd.

Beattie, yeah, I'll give you that. But he'd been at the Saints for moons.
