Unless Im wrong, minus Yak, Moyes has never really bought a player from another Premiership club who was a name player with an impressive record and rated highly.

Can I offer James Beattie as an example here? Never mind what happened afterwards, when we bought him he was certainly a name. Not to mention Martyn, Howard and Saha.
