Great!

So please explain to us simpletons why he shouldn't play for 5 or 6 games provided he's physically and mentally available for selection?

You must have a really compelling argument. I just can't figure it what it is.
He might just be physically fit just about in time for our last 5 or 6 games - so we might see...but I doubt he'll kick another ball in anger for us.

Well, exactly. He might never been ready.

My point is, if he was available and fit with no additional financial burden on Everton he should be used.

There's people arguing against it.

Anyway, it's a tiring topic. I'm done for the day ;)

Honestly, no idea.

Nobody knows the real terms of the deal outside the two clubs, the league and the player/players rep.

There's a load of speculation of course, but that's all it is. I'd speculate that game count is only Everton first team games. (otherwise we wouldn't send him out on loan to Turkey)

If we pay Spurs 10m after he passes the threshold does that automatically trigger a contract extension? Nobody here knows. (if it did, it throws a whole new angle on things.)
Well the man who would know every little thing about Dele’s contract with Everton is the man who negotiated the deal, and signed it off but nothing has been heard of him since he declined to come to the home game v Southampton in January, Chairman Bill.

No word of a lie I had a dream last night that he was back on the pitch for us & running the show, picking up the ball along the edge of the oppo's box and playing some neat one-twos into the forwards. Set up Doucoure(!) for a tap in lol

It's a vision of things to come, I'm convinced!
By far our best technical player since James, and if fit probably the best player we have had since Rooney first coming.

People who say money doesn’t buy you happiness have never had money…

Give me 10m and I would be the happiest man alive

What if you were given £10m and then your whole family died?

What if you were given £10m and then lost the use of your limbs in a horrific car accident?

If we are not going to play him why not just pay up his contract and let him leave.
Less of a distraction to other players.
However we are short on squad depth, so it might be good to keep him for those 6/7 games, maybe there will be interest in January?

Although releasing him may be seen as

Good points here, but the main point is he still an everton fan I assume so will still be miserable
