See I don't really understand this argument. The player was signed the same day the manager came in so clearly was already in the pipeline. The manager then started him zero times until we were safe, and then won't even play him in a striker crisis the next season.

All the evidence to me points to the manager not rating the player, and can you blame him based on his performances?

The player is finished at the top level. He can't even find space in the box anymore like he did with ease under Pochettino. What's his role now because he offers nothing out of possession?
Hes not going to make an impact coming on with 5minutes left, hes not going to find his form sitting on the bench.

Hes 26 years old and hes the only player in our squad who was at some point a genuine world-class talent.

Play him.

He's done absolutely nothing in an Everton shirt to deserve starts. He's had one decent 45 mins in 6 months. Cut our losses now and get someone in who can help the team because the evidence all points to the fact he is finished at premier league level.

I think hes been bright and given us something in his brief cameos.

Would rather see Dele on the pitch than every other attacking player we have, bar DCL.

Im not saying drop Messi for him, im suggesting we drop 1 of the players that has scored zero goals in 2022.

“Get rid”…. To whom????

IMHO, the only way we’re getting rid is if an MSL or Saudi club wan him & he wants to go.

Let’s hope Moshiri has finally learned to stay out of football decisions!

............ for another player who has zero goals in 2022

Great

What a truly shocking set of options the manager has.

Give me £500 a week and a football manager database and I'd do a better job

Dele seems very comfortable and settled in his life, doesn't strike me as the kind of lad/player who would have any desire to go to the middle east and probably not the MLS.

I doubt he wants to drop down a division and there aren't any Prem takers for him, so he's going to be here until his contract expires, we'll end up paying Spurs a couple of £10m payments for his 10 minute cameo run outs, and he'll get another club and another contract somewhere else.

I dont think putting players on the transfer list and fielding bids works in real life Tim.

It is a real weird one, I feel like he runs around as if his backside weighs forty stone but we also look infinitely more dangerous when he is on the pitch.

Honestly think he should start a few games as one of the inside forwards off an actual striker...

Do you think that if he was showing he was good enough in practice matches or in training then Frank wouldn't jump at the chance of giving him starts.

He's clearly showing nothing to make Frank think that there is any chance he will be an asset to the team. In his cameos for the team as well he has shown pretty much nothing.

Do you really think that having shown nothing for all that time that he's suddenly just going to turn it on because we started him for a few games. Even in the Chelsea game the commentator said that before the game he was scuffing all his shots in the warm up and didn't look at the races.

I think hes just a bad trainer.

Thought he made a difference yesterday immediately his runs had defenders all over the show. I want to see more of him not less
I’d have started with him for both games. If he didn’t cut the proverbial mustard in or either, I’d have reverted to what we’ve done up to now.

However, the lack of a start must suggest something as Lampard is working with him each day, so he must be seeing something, or not.
