Yeah but if you look at his career as a whole, the last 5 seasons he has just got progressively worse. Something is not quite right with him and its not just down to poor form.

When we signed hi, werent there a video doing the rounds, where Frank says "We done it" or something along them lines? It kind of gave the impression he wanted him. But it is strange if he did want him, but wont play him.

I think he’s decided not to play him latterly. He was easing him in via sub appearances, then just stopped.

Actually he’s been poor since the 2018 World Cup so it’s nearly 4 years.

He might want to play another way next season if/when we are secure in the PL and we have made a few moves and can setup the team slightly differently and more to the point, better suited towards Dele.

Bought for next season. Not the type of player for a dogfight. We stay up he’ll be a regular next year, we go down he’ll be moved on at no great loss because he didn’t make the 20 game clause of buying him.

Well the year after he scored none in 15 and only had 1 in 10 this season. Was this down to Jose?

I’d rather look at his whole prem career when he got 1 in 6
Compared to Dele who has 1 in 3.5 and Niasse was a striker

What’s the point looking at his whole career when he was brilliant for his first two seasons and hasn’t been anywhere near that player for a long, long time? Also Alli is a striker.

Given the structure of the deal (10 million after 20 games) every appearance effectively costs £500,000. I suspect that Frank would probably bring him off the bench a bit more often if he hadn't maybe been reminded that giving him a 10 minute run out costs the club half a million.
