Worrying when a central defender is picked before your new midfielder signing in midfield.

Getting hammered on Talksport and called a pointless signing and a waste of time. It’s hard to disagree.
I wouldn't say so Dele isnt a conventional central Midfielder he's an attacking player suitable for playing further up the pitch. I think Frank brought holgate in as someone who could deputize for a defensive mid. As holgate played pretty deep throughout the game.Worrying when a central defender is picked before your new midfielder signing in midfield.

Otoh it reminds me of vlahic, or whats his name. he never got a decent chance, sub in lost games, drowned out with the rest and boom: hes not all that-tag. Then he gets transfered and suddenly becomes a valuable player that we didnt see, or our manager of the day didnt see.Getting hammered on Talksport and called a pointless signing and a waste of time. Wasn't the deal - if he plays less than 10 games he's on a free loan or something?
They're probably just waiting on that and then sending him back...
So, we 'could' sell him for £50m in the summer and claim that as pure profit?Seen this a number of times now over the last few days so figured I'd bold it in regards to the Dele deal:
Dele is owned by Everton for 2.5 years.
He costs us no fee until he plays 20 games (can't this season) after which we pay Spurs £10m. Other unknown bonuses after that.
We cannot "give" him back to Spurs unless they buy him off us like any normal transfer.
