Think we are done. Three wins in a row obviously changed moyes’s mind - after villa he was adamant we were very short.

Let’s be honest. Beto / ndiaye both getting injured is the most everton thing likely to happen now.

1 - Full chill compared to the last 3 seasons.

We've just won 3 in a row, playing sexy Moyes football, new stadium next season, haven't spaffed money up the wall for the sake of it and we're not going down.

I can only assume these three victories dramatically changed the picture later on in the window.

The club very likely expected to be on about 20 points now and thus be required to bring in at least 1 striker and 1 wide man to help find the goals that were missing and have no excuse for failing to do so.

Now we've carved out some breathing space they've taken a perhaps calculated risk of not bringing in anybody on a permanent deal, in the hopes that it will allow more money to be spent on improving the squad in the summer.

Obviously if this comes off, and it probably should now thankfully, it'll look like they played a blinder.

If we get relegated from here having not strengthened the starting XI, the owners will have got exactly what they deserve.

I think we'll survive and not be in the mix for the final two or three rounds of games, but it's definitely a risk when we literally only have about four genuinely quality players and can't afford to lose any two of them at the same time now.
