I thought wed finish sixth or seventh mate. This is an Everton team making progress so to be honest I'm pretty happy this season.

Season was over two months ago anyway, the Catalan clown.

It wasn't a terrible January window, it was just made terrible with injuries and such. I probably did my fair share of fuming at the time, like. But reasoned and rational posts have no place on this forum.

Whatever happens on Sunday this has been a much stronger season than I would have predicted. I think our manager is building something great here , just really pleased that we are playing meaningful games this late in a transitional season . Proud of the team and the club in general ,onwards and upwards.............

The bottom line is:

For a "transitional season", I think we've done pretty damn well. Fifth is fantastic, any higher is just a massive bonus. IF we can make it to fourth, then that'll be amazing. But let's just enjoy the ride lads!
