He worked £25M his old club's way. Those people aren't stupid. Most of the Ajax lot would have known he lacked the pace, athleticism and presence required for the PL and Koeman would have known it too. But all he says in defence is that no one at Everton voiced their concerns.

He made a kings ransom at Everton and he made sure the only club he really identifies with weren't left out of the cash bonanza. The whole transfer stinks and is in all likelihood dodgy.

Didn't cryuff say he rated klassen highly and commented on how he can play football at full speed and said he was similar to inesta and a couple of others? Cryuff isn't exactly an idiot is he? Was a lengend of the game as both a player and a manager

About 9 of our starting 11 can't cope with it tbh... our ball retention is the worst of any team in the league IMO...
Not including Pickford, I think Walcott, Tosun, Coleman and Sigurdsson are capable of it, even Baines despite slowing down considerably.

The major problem is we have Rooney, Davies and Gueye in CM. We have Keane, Jags and have had Williams at CB.

Playing any of those in combination will make anyone struggle to retain the ball.

The main problem is most of our players are thick as mince.

Can't believe fat head hasn't given him more minutes our season was over a long time ago. It seems likely he isn't up to standard but it would be nice if he got some minutes to see what he has. Now he's just deprecated in value.

And Mirallas was laughing his head off.I know,in different positions.Give me 10 DAVY'S over 1 KEV work ethic wise

It is strange, haven’t heard anything about a bad attitude, so maybe we have to pay Ajax a lump of money if he makes another appearance? That’s the only thing that might make sense but probably would have heard something about that by now

Koeman - "He had trouble with the aggressiveness and the tempo. You do not get time on the midfield. I was disappointed with Davy."

Bin.

Dutch fathead.

Well I was disappointed with you Ronald you big satsuma headed lard arse. I was disappointed with you taking a transfer war chest of £150m and putting together the most inept set of misfits I've ever seen with my own eyes, who on the pitch looked like they'd never met each other.

Reading between the lines they had a suspicion he'd struggle but thought his quality would get him over the line.

Didn't.

the average IQ score for the entire squad went up dramatically when Roscoe departed...but it's still very low.

Barkley is a fine example. You ask him to put a ball on a sixpence and he will do it 9 times out of 10. Ask him to choose the right sixpence and he will struggle.

There is natural ability and footballing ability. The mental side is huge and separates the decent players from the good ones.

When Cruyff talked about anything Ajax related it was political. If he said a player (any player) was great, then almost certainly it was because a sworn enemy in that club thought he wasn't all that...and vice versa.

whether the lad is good enough or not or can adapt the premier league or not, its bordering on criminal that a player bought for £25m hasn't been given a chance to prove himself for a team that has had nothing to play for for the past few games and could really do with some creativity. We've been underwhelming at the best of times and Im sure putting him on from the start for some of the 'easier' home games to start with would have built him up over time.
We may never know now as he may well be off in the summer without having a proper chance
