have to agree, why we never invested time in

gana
klaassen sigurdson
as a midfield three from the begining is beyond me. instead persisted with schnieds, rooney and an isolated forward up top. loaned out lookman and sandro. expected a teenager in davies and even dcl to go out and perform for us week in week out...all while the while we've had the 24 year old captain of ajax sitting in the training paddock all season?!
Because the manager must shoehorn the pathetic useless wage-stealing fraudulent waste of space cart horses Schneiderlin, Rooney and Bolasie in at every given opportunity. That's why.

I don't get this at all. Look at Michael Keane. He's been nothing short of a disaster all season but he is given continuous opportunities because it's obvious the club do not want to write off a major investment until it becomes inevitable that he's a dud.

Klaassen is in exactly the same boat. A big investment and centre midfield has been one of our major problem positions all season along with centre back yet Keane is given chance after chance to come good (obviously not happening anytime soon looking at his performance at Swansea) yet Klaassen is frozen out completely, isn't even getting in the bench regularly and the club aren't allowing him to tick over for the u23s.

Something seriously weird about the whole thing.

I dont think anyone went to see these players before they signed them...certainly not Keane .
Walsh and Koeman went to Spain to see Sandro once.
No due diligence or proper scouting was ever done with these player imho.
I know that Moyes was known as Dithering Davy..but what he did do was thoroughly research his target including charcteriistics of the player to establish if hes a good fit

He must be awful if even Sam won't pick him. I would give him one full game before the end and see what he does. There is a player in there
somewhere, as some clown kept saying a few months ago.
