Have to be honest I haven't seen him play enough to even know what position suits him best
is he a ball carrying midfielder? deeper than sigi? does he tackle? can he finish?

haven't the foggiest idea what he does but I'm willing to take the gamble he can't be much worse than the current lot.

I always thought he played in a more advanced position tbh, was surprised that moonhead was playing him so deep while he was here.

It’s a safe bet that he can finish based on the number of goals he scored last season.

He does not play in an advanced position.

Even from what I've seen so far, I think I'd sooner have him in than Slugurdsson, and he could be more effective for the team as a whole.

I think Gueye is massively overrated by Everton fans in general, but he does have some qualities, and if he could just do what a DM is supposed to and Sit, instead of bombing out of position after every loose ball, a midfield 3 of Gueye, Klaassen and Rooney, could be effective.

The fact that in light of Mccarthys recent injury, this is the best alternative we have to the £70m money pit of despair that is Schneiderlin and Slugurdsson, is another point entirely.
