2017/18 Davy Klaassen

I just say what I see. He pressed well tonight. I think he at least has a method to his play. He's not playing well obviously and I don't think he's good enough for Everton. But the scapegoating is frustrating me. Rooney and Davies were significantly worse and I feel sorry for a lad who I saw giving the bare minimum of his best efforts, and being humiliated out there, whilst others are given preferential treatment as they are local, or in Williams case, seemingly too experienced and strong minded to hook.
I actually agree. Davy was good tonight, first touch was there, ran hard, actually understood when to press, but seriously, who could play in front of Martina?

He was poor, but when has this lad ever been a winger? No pace, can't dribble, can't cross. Utter lunacy from Unsworth.

In the vids I saw he looked like a feet version of Cahill, better finishing ability but not the aerial prowess but similar run timing and awareness. Imagine throwing Cahill on the wing, Unsy's strung the lad up to prove a point.

No. Not having that. Davies and Rooney didn't hide, they kept driving and trying to make things happen, albeit not very well. Klaassen was hiding like a lost boy all game. Done absolutely nothing of note, wouldn't have made a difference if he wasn't there. It's actually shocking how bad he is but what's worse is that our scouting network/Walsh/Koeman deemed him good enough to warrant a £25m move this summer. I seen him play once before against Utd in the Europa final and that performance has typified how he's played here. Very, very poor. Im afraid there are no positives whatsoever when discussing this lad, unfortunately.

What is with people's logic here???
If JonJoe Kenny plays upfront and stinks it, he is out of position. When Klaassen is played out of position with no support from the worst left back in the Europa League, he should be beating the world down.

Needs to play centrally. Any manager with managerial qualities would see it. And wasnr even that bad tonight for crying out loud. Fell apart when he went off.
