Mixed bag tonight I thought. Showed some nice touches and movement, but also thought his passing was a bit sloppy,and he lacked a bit of pace and/or vision. File under Naismith.

Did they? I thought they played a good counter-attacking game rather than being ultra defensive and bar one excellent Stek save and some ropey finishing, they could have had a good result.

There was plenty of space to play.

Off topic but I agree with that. Think they'll count themselves unlucky to lose to be honest, arguably had the two best chances.

I think people really overrating Davies. Same with Holgate and Lookman. Davies isnt technically that good to play in that position imo.

Can we get rid of the CF playing in the Attacking Right slot. Play Ramires CF, Rooney left and Lookman right. Play Gana / Schneids (but not both ffs) and Davies AND Klaassen. That would be too much for most teams that park the bus. Quite why we need 2 DMs at home to a defensive team, I dont know.

Id pay good money to see Davies, Klaassen, Rooney, Lookman and Sandro starting.

Or possibly Schneiderlin and Klassen as CMs, with Rooney as a 10, Sandro up top and two wingers
