Davy Klaassen hammers Everton coach David Unsworth
Klaassen left Everton in the summer after failing to make an impact.
The 25-year-old endured a difficult spell at Everton after completing a £25million move from Ajax. He managed just 16 appearances in all competitions for the Toffees, before being offloaded this summer.
Marco Silva decided to sell the Netherlands international, and has since been replaced by impressive Barcelona loanee Andre Gomes who has starred in the middle of the park for Everton.

Klaassen joined while Ronald Koeman was in charge, but his fellow countryman was quickly sacked and Unsworth took control before Sam Allardyce joined. Klaassen recalled his time under Unsworth, questioning the Under-23 manager.
"Unsworth is a fine guy, although he had different thoughts about football than I did," Klaassen said. "He did not find me physically enough to play his way of football.
"He had a theory that my technical qualities would be better if I were physically stronger. The logic of this escaped me a bit. But it was clear to me that I did not have to count on playing time. After a month Sam Allardyce was appointed and from that moment on it was hopeless."

Klaassen has since moved to Werder Bremen, where he is one of the first names on the team sheet. He has managed 13 outings in all competitions, scoring three goals and three assists. He has even captained the side on one occasion.
Had Koeman stayed in charge, Klaassen may have got more game time. But with Allardyce, Unsworth and Silva managing the Toffees after the Dutchman, Klaassen has little chance of breaking his way into the side.

I think we all agree with one bit of this...

"After a month Sam Allardyce was appointed and from that moment on it was hopeless"

LOL

He will never manage in this league.

Certainly doesn't look that way. Shame, what happened during that spell as interim manager completely burst the bubble around him and anything he achieves at youth level now will never restore it.

He gave it his best and definitely cares for the club, I respect that, but there's no denying he looked well out of his depth in that run of games. Pleased for him that he got that win against West Ham so he can always look back and say it ended on a high note. One of the things that disgusted me most about Allardyce was him trying to claim that win for himself, the horrible git just sat in the stand.

Unsworth can still have a decent managerial career in the lower leagues, hell maybe even get a young team up into the PL one day. But Everton manager permanently? No chance.
