Is there any actual evidence Weir would do a great job?. Brighton’s recruitment isn’t great because of Davie Weir, it’s because of Tony Bloom’s data folk. I’m very wary of taking folk from Brighton, very few have gone on to great things away from the mothership.

Yep , Brighton is run very effectively by Bloom and CEO Paul Barber , Weir’s role is very much “ Technical Director” as opposed to DoF . I don’t know much about what he’s achieved , all I see is people writing a lot of “ good signing “ fluff without any explanation why .
