David Unsworth - Temporary Manager

Unsworth "I've picked a team and am looking forward to the session tonight. If someone comes in this afternoon I'll shake them by the hand..."

1) I find it proper weird that the training was moved to tonight - anyone know why besides the random rumours of manager coming in.

2) "if someone comes in this afternoon"... thats a bit weird too.

Feel sorry for Unsworth tbh...

He moved it back himself to give the players a bit of 'extra rest' this morning.

More recovery time he said, weird though as you would have thought it runs the risk of carrying knocks from training closer to a game.

And its not like the players need more recovery, they probably ran the distance of 10 metres at the weekend, the bunch of shitehawks

It feels he's been hung out to dry by the board. A handy deflection from their utter incompetence.

He's not up to this level of management yet but by god he deserves better treatment, not just from the higher ups but the players themselves.

People talking about how appointing Sam will take the club to a new low, but the way Unsworth's been treated is beneath contempt. He's actually been the the only person who has had to shield questions about his successor for the last 5 weeks, utterly disgraceful. How anyone can aim their bile at him is beyond me, he may be out of his depth but he's had no support from the board, Bill hiding when the going gets tough and Moshiri displaying a complete lack of interest and understanding of the game.
