Read the papers this morning and caught up with a lot more news that I think we had not known.

Two City men namely Marwood and Cook each contacted BK re the transfer. They were rebuffed, arrogant pricks think all they had to do was contact BK and considering our finances wave a cheque for some millions and BK would grab it. Shows how out of touch this lot and Hughes were about Everton. Moyes made it very clear that no one has called him and what his answer would be i.e, No.

Moyes also intimated that some one by inference from City had been speaking to Lescott without permission and that was before the transfer request! Moyes made it plain that such a thing would be in breach of Lescott's contract.

The attitude of Moyes and the club was that they would look into lodging a formal complaint with the Premier League when the window closes about City's approach and Hughes' utterances which greatly unsettled the club and player.

The rest we know about who makes the decisions and the anger, disgust at the manner in which City have pursues this matter.

And so if all the people that might have a say have already said no to citeh, then all they can do is come back with 30M and test the resolve.

See we get to this point and it would appear that citeh have been knocking on a door that doesn't exist? The only person who did respond was JL....?
Very strange days.

Money. Can't buy you love. Can't buy you an Everton centre half.
So far.

I honestly think if Citeh had done things properly and we'd signed a new defender, Lescott would have gone. But its the principal of things now not the money. If Lescott goes i think Moyes will quit!
