They havent won it yet. Suppose we have to throw that in first. And Moyes won that same trophy so technically its a crap trophy not even worth mentioning. Oh unless its another manager of course. Then it becomes worth it lol.
Decent manager Glazner. Not been that brilliant in the league if you dive into a bit further. He walked into a Palace squad with the likes of Eze Michael Olise Guehi Adam Wharton Mateta. Im not sure they've had a top half finish under him. I might be wrong but i think dougie freedman was doing their recruitment at the time.
I honestly dont know if he'd be good or not at Everton. For all the abuse Moyes gets about style of play etc. Palace have 36 goals this season. 5 less than Everton.
They haven`t struggled against relegation under him, so maybe he saw that putting a bit more into a good go at the cup competitions could give the club a lift they had never had, and got that with a cup win and a run to a semi final in Europe. Sort of the opposite of how we approached this season, shocking attempt at two cup competitions to focus on mid table finish in the PL in a season lots of teams have been out of form.

Loads would go silent and disappear, loads would sulk and the select few would be very angry.

We have some very strange fans:
"It's all 'cos Moyes mentality and application and attitude and preparedness...etc"

in a season where nine sides have been involved in europe and that toll has told.*

It’s pretty clear to me that the weekly mention of how humble, hardworking and dedicated Beto is is aimed purely at the ears of players he thinks aren’t showing those qualities.

He was saying it even when Beto couldn’t hit a cows arse with a banjo earlier in the season.
Prepare to be bored : the banjo in the saying is in in fact a farmer's shovel from Northern Ireland.

Funnily enough i do a fair bit of football betting and he's not a manager that tends to rotate. He often went with the exact same side in the league as Europe. I reckon its more a conference league thing. Good chance they will end up playing Gary Oneils Strasbourg in the final. Who beat them earlier in this competition under Liam Roseinor.
If Glasner ever took over Everton he'd have to go straight into the transfer market as he seems to like 3 at the back and attacking wing backs.
