2025/26 David Moyes

What are people moaning about?. Did people think we would beat Arsenal tonight 🤣

Today was a clear and eye opening look again of how the likes of...

...Alcaraz have gone from being super confident and providing the xfactor in games, to Dibling who is an exciting attacking player that likes to take players on...

Have had their confidence shot.

There were no clear patterns of attacking play nor consistently any players pressing together as a unit.

They looked like strangers.

And, if so, that is down to them.

I don't really know what else he could do tbh. I hated losing like we did against Spurs and Newcastle. Quite happy we stayed in the game tonight.

Squad is still miles off it. I don't think there's a manager in the world that'd get more out of them to the point we go from being a mid table team to a top 6.
Loads on here said the exact same thing about dyche

Depends on how you look at it.

Ive seen young people get absolutely demoralised in high pressure jobs with old school managers. Different generation who need support and trust.

Ive also seen young people do very well when they have senior people put faith in them and compliment them.

I’m sure he’ll say we never expected to get a result against these. Forgetting the fact that we have have a great record against them recently at home.

Dont mind losing games if we are galvanised, motivated and show that weve got a gameplan and tactical systems are clearly in place.

The defeats have come and weve either looked frightened, not interested or dont seem to have a plan of attack.

Also, as ive repeated many times. If we finished 10-13th but could see the younger players were being given development through games and see them improve then id be happy for Moyes to continue.

But were seeing the opposite where young players seem not to be used and when they are theres clear drop offs in their play. Stagnation at best.

For the lack of growth he needs to stop talking about europe and get it or develop the players.

Failure to do so should lead to an obvious conclusion.

I’ve said similar, we finish 14/15th playing all the older players and the youngest players, spending all their time on the bench, he will be under pressure come the end of the season.

Thought that myself mate. Yes we were without 3 players who started last week, but it’s not like there were new players integrated into the side who had never played before. There was no cohesive patterns to our play and we certainly didn’t play as a unit.

Hes right about Iroegbunam.

Isnt it strange how giving starts to the likes of him and Barry has seen an improvement in some areas of their games?

Im going to carry over my frustration and anger about him misusing Alcaraz and put todays performance down to him trying too hard and losing confidence after being wrongly dropped AGAIN last week.

Also about him using McNeil over Dibling which I think is an absolute disgrace.

When McNeil had the corner near the start of the match and Moyes went ballistic i thought...

...he'll be just as bad in open play.

He's not under threat but he needs to start using these younger lads and moulding them into a cohesive unit.

Its almost as if theyre not getting the same pressing instructions or tactical and passing instructions as one anothet. They look like strangers.

Iroegnunam, Alcaraz & Dibling need to be told to enjoy themselves for the next month and play to win.

Then it should be up to KDH, Ndiaye and Gana to win their places back.

Theyre on eggshells.

He's not going to change 30 years into his career
