2025/26 David Moyes

7 points above the relegation zone
We will be a lot closer to the bottom 3, than in europe by January. We need to have a strong January window, Newcastle type window they had in 2022. I am sure they were not very attractive either then. No excuse. Ideally we should already have started conversations with agents, players and clubs...problem is that, like probably many evertonians, I am expecting nothing or very little until we panic on deadline day.

You keep saying this and there's nothing backing it up besides your desire for it to be true.

Apart from the likes of Forest and Palace smashing through it last season.

Itls the ambition of the owners Moyes needs to be looking at not at the free passes he'll get out of you and others on here. Rightly so too.

Let's have a bit of ambition and get shut of him in the summer if he cant get top ten.

We've just spent about 100 mil in the summer, would be surprised if there's a lot of funds for much business to be done. Can see us signing a striker on loan for 6 months, who needs game time ahead of the WC, maybe a right back if there's the right one out there, but not much more than that.

What do Forest and Palace have to do with you knowing with any certainty what our owners ambitions and expectations are? Absolutely nothing.

You're talking as if you're sitting in on Friedkin's boardroom conference calls and you haven't a Scooby doo David.

They might see stabilizing us in midtable as acceptable for all you know.

He'll get us 11th-14th Moyes.

Safe as houses.

If that's what the owners want then so be it. I have hope they have greater ambition.

But maybe they'll just accept safety and let him see his contract out. Probably that in the end. Sadly.

He's just not good enough for this club though. Not by a long chalk. We need to be using this stadium to launch into a brave new era and get back where we belong.

We have an interesting 6 months ahead in any case.

Where have I EVER said I KNOW that failure to get top 10 will see Moyes being sacked?

You're creating a straw man.

The Messiah after a result, and devil after a shocker is tedious.

Fully deserved today I think.

A massive schoolboy error in going with a midfield 2 and never changing it.

When were these games where Tim played well? Were they games we were already winning?

Alcaraz is twice the player Iroegbunam is. Iroegbunam is not a player with any sort of quality at all, he's a player we got on a FFP fiddle.

Nail on head really, hes done well when coming on to run around and tackle. Hes also done fine in a dogs of war pair with Gana.

Tim showed exactly why he doesn’t start games and is an impact sub. i like him and he has plenty to offer and lots of potential, but he isn’t ready to start games.

Harsh i think even though he was dreadful, he'd have a chance in a 3. But when attacking its not ideal to use him.

Whilst I agree, KDH needs to be deeper. But he has scored 2 in 2, and both excellent goals.

Fabulous goals and fabulous play last 2 games as an 8.

Bewildering to use him at 10 today and even more so to keep him there when Alcaraz came on.

Along with Man U, Liverpool, Newcastle and Tottenham as it stands.

I’m sure non of their fans will be talking about getting relegated 🥱
Because they are all capable of, and will go on a run. We are 14th and barely improved after spending £100m

Are we improved from the Moyes Jan - May side, to this side?

Honestly, I felt more confident with when we were in like March/April. This side aren’t capable of putting a run together.
