We did deserve it - toothless attack, no shots on target for the whole first half and clownish defending.

The lack of effort is something that is 100% on the manager as he should be setting higher standards than that crap

Big changes needed, namely drop Tarkowski and move O’Brien back to CB, take a chance on Aznou even if it means putting him in at RB, move KDH into the 8, move Grealish or NDiaye inside and give Dibling a go

…..obvious problem is no replacement for Gueye.

Iroegbunam won’t be risked again and the Dewsbury-Hall/Alcaraz axis leaves us open regardless of who plays where. I’ve thought Rohl and Armstrong are ahead of Iroegbunam in the pecking order and nothing I’ve seen has changed my mind.

Sadly neither are available. Headache for Moyes with a tough run of fixtures coming up.

He was apparently a major part of a recruitment set up that decided the current midfield was sufficient, not having actual backup for Gueye is a major error on their part unfortunately.

Matty we had two shots on goal. We deserved that score.

When you’re beat that comprehensively everyone deserves blame, but specifically the staff. The team wasn’t ready to play despite the possession Newcastle let us have.
