No, as he’ll be key during the African Cup of Nations.Don't rate Charly, ok.
We are rubbish , aren't we?
Why Dibling is screwed on the bench? A 40 millons player just warming the seat?

Suddenly Moyes will say go and do your job?No, as he’ll be key during the African Cup of Nations.
How can he take confidence from someone who hasn’t really featured and got notoriously homesick before. It’s called easing someone in.Suddenly Moyes will say go and do your job?
It doesn't work this way.
He needs time , it's different training and play.
Moyes is taking off all the confidence of everyone.
He doesn't have much time. The Premier League is the most competitive league. If he doesn't rise to the occasion, someone else will come in. Players and manager are in the same boat. How can he take confidence from someone who hasn’t really featured and got notoriously homesick before. It’s called easing someone in.
Oh, I agree with pretty much all of that. The picture looks different when you look with your eyes....the last time we enjoyed the football rather than just the meet up with mates at the match every weekend was under Roberto. We actually went pretty much everywhere with the intention of winning. We didn't achieve it every week, but in the majority we tried it. Under Moyes I can't honestly say the same. Too many games over the whole of his tenure have been frustratingly cautious affairs and against the 'top' teams we're beaten before we start because of his inherent inferiority complex.
Moyes wouldn't be my choice of manager but I understand why TFG brought him back. I'll also understand if they send him on his way before the season is out.
I'm almost expecting a mention of Garry Birtles in the press conference...1 win since August, its November..
I expect he'll get the sack if he doesn't recalibrate. One win, though, is all he needs to get over this really sticky job-threarening period. Beat Fulham and he's teflon again. His points tally will be more or less where he would have expected. His problem is if he doesn't beat Fulham, he will cower at Old Trafford and that leaves him needing a win over Newcastle or Bournemouth. The longer he leaves that win, the more one win won't cut it. A win this Saturday allows him to cower at Old Trafford with impunity. Fail to win the next few, though, and even a win over Bournemouth might not be enough if he loses to Woany and Stonesy. THAT would be terminal.I don't know what people expect to happen if Moyes refuses to recalibrate his tactics or personnel on the pitch, we haven't looked good in both halves in a single game yet. I was content with him last season, but he's mediocre at best. I think the two wins after the leeds match distracted from how abysmal the Leeds match was. We have matches coming up in the next month or so against clubs he typically is afraid of and opts for a draw. Im still open to backing him if he can show progress such as a win next week but if can't do that , it's on him and it's going to be very difficult to dig out of that hole.
I just feel his team changes - rinse & repeat at the CF position & no other changes - plus his wayward substitutions are baffling TBH ....Moyes is a pragmatist. He's stuck with the same formula for too many games now, but he's not Dyche and he will look to change things.
I think part of what he's doing is performative, aiming to demonstrate that we need January reinforcements to the club hierarchy because "look what I have to work with."
Ultimately I don't think that's helpful, and I don't think any of us should be satisfied with the lack of tactical and personnel experimentation we've seen lately... but I don't expect this mini slump to last.
Yeah, I really think he’s making a point about the strikers specifically. He wants a centre forward in Jan.I just feel his team changes - rinse & repeat at the CF position & no other changes - plus his wayward substitutions are baffling TBH ....
He could have the two CF on the bench - we all seen what Nydaye can do playing down the centre can do & lets see our most expensive signing on the wing - play O'Brien at CH drop the out of form CH - play Garner at RB & fetch DH & Tim into the middle dropping Gana - plus use Alcaraz at no 10 & keep the ball on the deck ... etc or any other permutations ... ATM its all too predictable for an opposition Manager to work us out etc
Plus we run out of energy in the 2nd half ....
He has more options though, he is just choosing not to use them and I don't think he is tactically astute enough to change it that much. We know what his limitations are and they are showing badly atm.Moyes is a pragmatist. He's stuck with the same formula for too many games now, but he's not Dyche and he will look to change things.
