2025/26 David Moyes

The McNeil sub is honestly baffling. What’s even worse is he’s not even played him much this season either, so he’s selecting a player he doesn’t even rate over options like Dibling Alcaraz and Rohl that he’s used more often before. It makes no sense.

Never mind the absolutely basic common sense that McNeil is better on the left.

Dibling & Aznou - highly rated kids never used

Rohl - Frequently praised by Moyes

Alcaraz - Effects games and is dropped for the next

McNeil - Rewarded for what?

Davey was whinging pre season that he didn’t have any players. Pre season was shocking.

He now has players and in all honesty we’ve seen one good game… the opening one at Hill Dicko.

Other than that we’ve been largely turd.

And in that one we needed Brighton to miss some sitters.

We've played genuinely well once this season - at Wolves - and we nearly threw that away.

Decent enough v Brighton and Villa. Otherwise, largely garbage.

I never wanted Moyes back. However, if we were playing games to win them I could just about live with him. But he's such a coward that he makes it very easy not to like him.

TFG will punt him in the summer if we're a place or two off and a handful of points from mid table.
There’s absolutely no guarantee he makes the summer, I don’t know why people keep assuming he gets that long.

Do you think TFG expect a season of us being bottom 6?

You can see now why West Ham fans bitterly turned on him..also he's very arrogant and less than honest in post match interviews. Only been watching the highlights of our games this season, I knew this was coming. He's been brought in to keep us up for the first few seasons in the new stadium so we will avoid the humiliation of playing in the championship having just moved in. That's about it really.

Will do
Will do Wonder's for Barry's confidence that .
If I were his boss I would have a few words with him for doing that , yes he missed a chance.
But David you have sat on your arse and watched the game drift away from us yet again explain that?
The other thing was that he hauled him off after 12 minutes of the second half and the lad's chin hits his chest and he's on the bench again clearly upset with his situation.

Either hand him a partner sitting off or alongside him if you start him second half or just hook him at HT and go with Beto.

He's humiliated the lad and any confidence he may have had just vanished tonight.

Terrible man management.

I don’t know enough to blame Moyes for where we are and how we play. Not without having been in those meetings where they discussed this summer’s purchases.
The famous Moneyball analysis showed that you improved a team by replacing the worst players.
Both our strikers are worse than Lewin. We don’t have Branthwaite. We don’t have full backs that can support the skills that Ndaye and Grealish bring.
It isn’t rocket science, Grealish and Ndye will save our skins, now and again.
But without the other bits of the jig-saw, we will lose more games than we win. Hopefully, enough to comfortably survive.

Passing up a massive chance in his career here. He could easily have us in the top half pushing Europe with the Freidkins ready to back him again in January and next summer. Instead he’s behaving like it’s 2002 and Kenwright only gave him 500k in the window and every point is another one to 40. Just massively missing a chance he’ll never get again.
Exactly. Hopefully he’ll soon find out that the Friedkins won’t put up with this. Let’s face it he could’ve lost 10 in a row and [Poor language removed] a Bucharest flag in the centre circle at Goodison and bill would’ve given him his fake teary eyed backing
