2025/26 David Moyes

I noticed this as well. A couple of tasty results against United and the Geordies and we'll have momentum and a clear slice or daylight behind us.
And it would likely set us up for a December where we're comfortable enough in the league to play our first team in the FA Cup. Honestly, I want to hear no excuses from the manager or his apologists for not playing Grealish and co in the third round. If we are so desperate for league points to stave off mighty Burnley and Wolves come January, well, that's on the manager.

A little bit of fantasy is needed as an Evertonian. Let's actually try to win the cup for once.

Moyes proves again that he knows better than most of our fickle fans. All wanted Gueye and KDH dropped. Most wanted Keaneout and he’s outperformed all our defenders.
Pity the club cost us Europe by giving him the chucklebrothers front.
If we can keep up with the pack come the end of Jan and hopefully strengthened with a couple of bodies we're well in with a shout.

The league looks like it going to be very tight this season.

People always forget it’s a marathon not a sprint. Probably cheer like lunatics when their 250-1 outsider runs miles ahead at the start of the Grand National!

Easy now. I don't think I say many shouts for Gana to be dropped and most just wanted KDH in his natural position rather than as a 10. Saturday showed a bit of a system change, but we beat a poor team at home, and it doesn't change how rigid Moyes has been until finally changing something with Garner moving to rb and shifting the midfield dynamic. There's plenty of growth to still be done, and if in the next match we're losing a foothold and Moyes still doesn't do anything, the shoe will be back on the other foot.
