Take a look at @JobForTheMoyes posts and get back to me.Has the pro Moyes faction been absolving him of responsibility today pal?
Looks like hes fallen into the trap of just looking to play the same side, regardless if it works or not.
We've currently got a very limited left back, with a left back on the bench who is too raw for him to consider
We've currently got a centre half playing right back, when there's a right back on the bench who seems to be there as a token gesture but is currently fit.
A centre half out of form whilst one plays right back
A centre mid who isnt having the best of times (Gueye) but keeps getting selected
A number 10 (KDH) who isnt a 10 but Moyes seems to think he adds goals and links up play. There's no way Alcaraz wouldn't be on at least 1 goal and a couple of assists if given 10 games in the 10 spot.
The less we say about the strikers the better, just alternating them hasn't worked and isnt working.
Phil Neville and Alessandro Pistone? It is EXTREMELY weird, to me, that Moyes doesn't think having competent fullbacks is a necessity for pretty much every club. I'd reckon about 40-50% of all of his "success" for Everton was based on having 2 absolutely ballers for fullbacks. What the [Poor language removed] does "it wasn't a priority for us" mean when, literally, the first player we went for was a fullback and then never went back for another one?? I seriously wish ANYONE would just call him out for being pretentious about it.
Errrm, look at how many games Coleman played for him - he played hibbo at RB, he also preferred Lescott at lb until he got absolutely ripped apart in EuropeIt is EXTREMELY weird, to me, that Moyes doesn't think having competent fullbacks is a necessity for pretty much every club. Yep totally bizarre decision.Decided to play Myko almost as a wide forward today .... Ofc he's crap going forward but let's not play the lad who's good that way.
But then again let's focus our play wide drawing gaps into the middle, then let's not get fullbacks so they get doubled up on, and let's not play anyone central who can take advantage of the spsce.
Bloody dinosaur as a manager
I’m not absolving him of anything. It was a poor result.Take a look at @JobForTheMoyes posts and get back to me.
I think he did that with Myko the same way as he started KDH on Illy's side, I think he has seen the slow build up one side and has tried to counteract it, if that is the case than atleast he is seeing it..Decided to play Myko almost as a wide forward today ....
