It’s on here from 7 minutes onwards when he’s talking about the new recruitment team and approach he’s put in I believe. I haven’t gone through it again but I’m sure he said that (about Moyes having final say) at some point and also distanced himself from giving his player opinion in the recruitment process because he didn’t have the expertise necessary.
From what I watched, which was him explaining the in house appointments and how he see's us moving forward along certain lines, I really liked what I heard from him and how he comes across. He seems a down to earth, level headed bloke with a good idea of how we should be moving forward in the game..
One thing I also get the feeling from it (although not implied in what he's saying) is that those forward thinking plans could end up being the crack that breaks Moyes's back..
Looking more into the Data and Analytics, an area that Moyes won't happily abide with, will be where the heads start butting..
Maybe some of these things are already playing out in front of us, thinking back to that presser and Moyes demeanor in it. Yes he had the final say on players, but was it just a final say out of a pool of players put to him rather then a say on players he actually wants on board himself..
Hope I'm wrong, but moyes is old school and will he really buck his trend to align himself with the modern structure of transfers..
I didnt see it all, but maybe it tells you more then its set out to..
Again I hope I'm wrong, but going forward Moyes is gonna have to give an inch on his football ideology...
