Can’t believe he said we played really well second half
Neither can the Freidkins i'd assume. Can’t believe he said we played really well second half
Having patience with the overall direction of the club is a completely different argument though. None of us expect us to compete for Europe this year or be up the top end of the leagueCan't defend Moyes for what he put out there tonight, who would. I feel like I'm repeating myself, but it's a slow build for this club, mistakes will be made, but progress is happening, and Moyes won't be the one to win us stuff, but he will get us into a position to be able to challenge. Dyche was a 16-20th spot manager, Moyes is a 6-15th manager at best, then we move onto bigger things. Patience.
Yep....lasted in the league cup until SeptemberThank goodness the bar has been raised for this club. Shows we are progressing.

We are currently perfectly safe and secure and stable in the middle of the richest, most lucrative sports league in the world (granted only a few games in), I highly doubt TFG will be anything more than mildly disappointed to be out of the least most relevant cup competition at an early stage. If their asset is 10th at the end of the season, I doubt they'll lose any sleep about the EFL cup.Neither can the Freidkins i'd assume.

Think perhaps you've missed my point. I wasn't saying we're "bigger" than the EFL cup (of course we are not, we've done nothing for thirty years and barely been relevant in the league for forty, so it should be a priority). I'm saying I highly doubt TFG, in their first full season of ownership, at a new ground, will think their big picture and long terms plans are affected by a cup exit because I doubt in the here-and-now it's their No1 priority compared to league security.Yes mate. But I do expect David Moyes to select a team which gives us our best chance to win a football match against an average team. I'm willing to be very patient with the club as long as they are moving even gradually in the right direction. But I'm not willing to support a manager who doesn't prioritise winnable Cup ties.
I've done the calculations and 0% of these things did occur. However, in the metadata there was a pretty high certainty that we went out of the cup. Against Wolves reserves. Pretty pathetic showing by the manager that, eh?I'm no maths guy but I'd be interested to see which out of the scenarios we have both listed would be more likely to occur
