I think it is more emotional for people hence rationality goes out the window. I honestly didn't want to watch it but I'm glad we at least got a goal.Clearly a decent half time team talk. If people want to judge Everton managers on how they do in the Anfield derby then crack on because you'll never be happy with who we've got in charge.

The officiating was impossibly bad. Bad even by cheat8ng standards. Those free kicks that they made us take back... my godThe first 30 minutes was the usual atrocious Anfield horrors but the players stepped it up and at least made it competitive after that. My expectations are so low for this game I don't even mind watching it because I know what's coming. That said I did nearly throw my phone at the TV when 3 minutes went up.
It's a bit silly to be defending the indefensible, isn't it?It's a bit silly saying this at half time, isn't it

Beto was limited by how we set up, very negativeSome people want to blame Beto. He wasn't very good again today. The whole team was poor to begin that match.
Why were we so hesitant and trepidatious in the first half? Nobody really put a decent tackle in as we played like bystanders and we quickly shipped two goals.
After the second went in they woke up a bit and clearly had a bit of team talk and the change of Beto for Barry at half time but the start wasn't good enough for a derby at the pit.
