I think it is more emotional for people hence rationality goes out the window. I honestly didn't want to watch it but I'm glad we at least got a goal.

A familiar, laboured and risk averse performance away at a media team first half, that’s why Moyes’ record is shambolic. Much improved second half when we started to play football, hopefully the penny has dropped.

The first 30 minutes was the usual atrocious Anfield horrors but the players stepped it up and at least made it competitive after that. My expectations are so low for this game I don't even mind watching it because I know what's coming. That said I did nearly throw my phone at the TV when 3 minutes went up.

I don't think I have ever seen an official do that the way he did. That may be a first. And he did it several times! I genuinely think he did it to take the piss out of the game. Needs to be investigated.

Some people want to blame Beto. He wasn't very good again today. The whole team was poor to begin that match.
Why were we so hesitant and trepidatious in the first half? Nobody really put a decent tackle in as we played like bystanders and we quickly shipped two goals.
After the second went in they woke up a bit and clearly had a bit of team talk and the change of Beto for Barry at half time but the start wasn't good enough for a derby at the pit.

It was the way the free kicks took so long to come back into the play. That's a general gripe of mine anyway. Funny enough though those minutes seem to get added back on when it's a team hunting a goal against us.
What a surprise when we actually tried to battle Liverpool we did well , Moyes needs to stop capitulating to sky 6 teams. Tardy subs again
