2025/26 David Moyes

If we line up in a 4231, I'd agree. But assuming it's 433 then this is the midfield that started against Fulham and United. I genuinely don't see why people are losing it.

Wait and see.

Chelsea away & David Moyes.

I think the writing is on the wall how this goes but would be overjoyed to get something here.

I think its a message to the squad that hes prepared to change a winning team to sacrifice youth for experience.

Its also a message that letting the team down doesnt factor into team selection.

If it's KDH as the number 10, fair enough, I'll be back after the game to join in with your frustration.

If it's a 433, I'll maintain that it's a stronger set up than the alternative

How do you explain starting a player who slapped a teammate in his last game over one who has been misused since signing?

Its poor man management.
He was fined, he apologised and Keane accepted. He's since missed almost 4 full games.

How much more do we want to punish him?

The argument, to me, would have been about what we do at full back - we've been better when Garner has been there, so it's more questions of should O'Brien be starting rather than Iroegbunam or Alcaraz rather than about Gueye.

How?

The players reconcile, the team move on, the management resolves any lingering issues hanging over the team. That itself is enough to move on and focus on football.
