I thought I was quite explicit about that but I will reiterate for you. The thing that's on Moyes is the bit where he's calling our potential new signings lower quality signings. That is likely to colour their view of joining us, imo. He is also one of the members of the transfer committee who decide upon our targets and that has gone poorly by Moyes' own admission.
I also wasn't only talking about Moyes, I also think our owners have royally messed up. As detailed in my post.
According to you neither Moyes nor the owners bear any responsibility for our, to use your own words, grim situation. I gave my reasons why I think that is nonsense.

Which 2 seasons did he improve us in your opinion? To finish 7th after the smith years in 02/03 was remarkable l, to give us our best season in 04/05 after the summer that went before was incredible and from 07-09 that’s the best most consistent Everton I’ve seen, he was then on his way to rebuilding us again in 11/12 until Martinez ruined it.

I think it’s just the world we live in. Was listening to Chris Cuomo latest podcast (American politics) he said hate, rage and conspiracy sell better than anything. Trolling is a close 4th. It’s the world we live in.

He is, but it's absolutely not his job to negotiate and conclude deals and draw up contracts.

Personally I think the idea of a committee is pretty farcical anyway. There needs to be someone in charge who ultimately makes the decisions. And I trust Moyes over people who have no previous track record in recruitment at Everton.

He's choosing the targets, by his own admission they don't want to come to play for us because we're not in Europe! No one else is to blame, it's on him, he's choosing the wrong targets.

Moyes I can almost guarantee has been read the riot act after that outburst in the USA - no chance whatsoever Friedkin will regard that as acceptable behaviour from an employee.

One thing TFG is are very professional and very corporate in the way they behave. Moyes actions went against both those.

It's weirdly enough both my biggest worry about TFG a d my biggest comfort having them in charge.

We will be ran as a professional organisation soon enough, but also we will be ran as a company not as a vanity project.

They will ensure that the mistakes of the past don't reoccur, whilst investing to make the company successful they will always have an eye on it being sustainable and won't take gambles. They'll never do a forest owners or a Chelsea one. But they'll never do a moshiri either....

Just noticed the emphasis on Southgate? Not been here long so was there really a clamour for Southgate? That can’t be serious?

If the window shuts and we haven't spent any more then we know any PSR/low funds related PR bull the club might try spin is nonsense.

Yeah. So we have money, but can’t get deals over the line.

Partly because players want Europe. Which with like half our league in Europe and more and expanded European competitions in recent years, players are getting more options making it much harder to sign players over teams we would normally not be in competition with.

Retaining Dyche for so long has ruined us. A half decent manager for the full season last year and we could have got into those European places.

We have no idea what sort of wages are being offered though. If you want top players you need to offer top end contracts.
