Your carrying over 20yrs of Resentment, I feel for you now that you have to see him back in charge improving us once again..

Maybe its time to flick that chip off your shoulder..

But I doubt you will, cos you cant move on, even if it's to the benefit of our club ..

You mean he showed respect to a legendary manager who was interviewing for one of the best and highest profile jobs in world football? People are so petty. Get on with your lives. We've made a decent start to the season, don't look like being relegation threatened for the first time in a while, are playing good football for the most part and finally have some genuine ballers in the team. These are the good times. Just enjoy them.
 
Maybe clubs like Brighton, Bournemouth and Brentford are currently out performing us because they have enthusiastic fan bases who are just enjoying the ride and don't have a core of bitter entitled fans harking back to perceived slights and grievances from twenty years ago? Just a thought.

It's easier to get on board when you have consistent vision and leadership at the top (owner, chairman, board) that produces results. That's what those clubs have had for a while that we have lacked. I'm sure they have plenty of online bitterness as well, but I wouldn't know.

Each of those clubs spent a long time just staring upwards dreaming of the heights of the premier league, they have all taken on new owners with a new vision and reached the heights of the premiership, and our looking pretty well run clubs.

We've spent years looking down, we now have new owners, new vision and a growing plan for the future.
Yet, we still have far to many fans looking down..

Moving out of a negative mentality is to hard a transition for some people, which I accept it can be hard after this long, but when it comes to it being Resentment thats keeping you in that negative pool, then I'm not sure those people want to get out..

Any improvement we make, the expectation bar just moves higher for them..

Just be happy that things are looking brighter than what they were..

Improving us from Dycheball isn't really that high a bar though is it?

Don't think there is bitterness. He came back and got a good reception. Some of the support base find his transfer dealings puzzling and his tactics too conservative but I don't see many if any calling for his dismissal. Although some posters on the thread seem to want to frame it that way.

You just said yourself 'Improving'

It takes time to move from a base we've been stuck in, its not like game consoles where I'm sure it's a lot quicker.

I get it, your stuck sinking in that Negativity pool and you will refuse a helping hand to pull you out..

You just spent a good number of pointless posts trying to change the narrative of a simple post I put out, just to try and convince yourself that you were right with your reaction.
