We've probably been the worse run club from the top over past 30 years. Basically Kenwright and Moshiri were both completely shocking owners. All things considered Thelwell and Purdy did an amazing job with the squad given the constraints they were working under. When you get a new ownership you hope to God they know what they are doing and want to get Everton back to challenging for the title. Getting Moyes back and agreeing to ditch the DOF role because he didn't want to work under it are to me backward steps and not the actions of owners who have a clear vision about how they can achieve success. Now it's all very well arguing that Moyes is going to steady the ship but if we don't get the recruitment right then all we'll have done is wasted a lot of money and a good few years.
