2025/26 David Moyes

How can I control anything?
Cos you are a very very clever man, your preparation and speed to applying it, is something to be in awe of.

This is only a forum and I have never met you personally but I do feel like I know you.

That statement was you in a nutshell, and it was so well placed people will get caught in the headlights.

If you didnt put so much work into a sole person, I expect you would have an even bigger following.

But that is your character, so don't change it, i would miss your posts and the humour that alot of them bring to the forum.

Just maybe don't push the boundaries too far and soon you could be running your own cult 💙

From the little I saw of Rohl, I’d take him or Charly behind Beto and drop KDH behind them. I think KDH is up too high for the style of football he favours. He needs to be that set up guy. He tends to be a rally killer a little bit. He needs to pass to the guys who are more goal minded than him.
THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That’s nonsense we were 13th last season and have a better squad. The club won’t be happy with 15th that’s a guarantee
Ok so can you name 7 teams with a worse squad? I would say Burnley, Leeds and Sunderland are worse. Then I'd put us on a level with Brentford and West Ham.

I don’t really care
Kinnear on toffee TV, said something along the lines of looking at a top half finish or being in tbe mix , I’d imagine 12th to 8th would be what TFG and the board are looking at
15th would be a huge failure, Moyes wouldn’t survive that

What Angus was saying is that Moyes was up all nights watching videos of players that were put to him, so yes he did have the final say, but it was out of a pool of players put to him, not vice versa. He possibly chose a couple but it certainly wasn't structured the way it previously was with him.

Also listening to Angus, its only going to change more to the route of say Brighton, Bournemouth and those sort of teams, Angus put it to the friedkins about working with a certain 'Data, Analytics firm' and they didn't only just say yes, they went and bought the whole company.

The way it looks is the future we will be looking for a coach who works with the tools given, rather then a manager who wants his own tools..

Tho thats only how it sounds, I haven't actually got a clue what's going to happen..

Put that last sentence into Latin and it could be the club's official motto

Im not sure Moyes likes change. If its working 70% he seems happy and thinks i will take that.
As fans we can all say, let’s try garner RB, Rhol or KDH deeper, Alcaraz in the 10, or Grealish in the 10 or Ndaiye as a false 9. But I think Moyes will start the same 9/10 players every week barring injury and suspension
I don’t think that’s true. Moyes in his first stint would start slowly then whether through design or accident would end up with a team that clicked. Playing Cahill or Fellaini as false nines for example.

You can’t help but think having Garner at RB, maybe even JB at left back would give the back line more forward thrust and athleticism to support the whole team.

Alcaraz as false 9 is intriguing. Eager to see more of Rohl too.

True, but I don’t miss the excitement of relegation scares.

I mean let’s not forget the mess prior to him coming in.

It’s not too dissimilar to what’s going on in the country this. Tory’s and Farage wrecked the country and 15 months in everyone up in arms because we don’t suddenly live in a utopia.
Yes its true we were in a big mess when he came in but he has spent a fair amount of money and not improved that much since he spent that money.
