Getting in behind the defenders. He is strong and fairly pacy. He also his all the grace of a lump hammer.
Expecting him to hold up the ball is ridiculous.
I'm not saying he is perfect, far from it. But when you have a limited player it may be an idea to stay away from his weaknesses and not just play the same system regardless.
He's got zero anticipation which negates any of this so called pace he has, watch tonight's game back especially 1st half where balls were played over the top and both Rodon and Struijk beat him in the sprint.
Why is it ridiculous to expect a strong player to hold up the ball, that's one of the best traits of a stronger player, being able to take the ball in and hold off defenders, he can't do it.
He's unpredictable and if through one on one with plenty of time he typically doesn't over complicate things - that's his only attributes.
