2025/26 David Moyes

Another excuse for Moyes.

Amazing, considering you're not a fan of him.
I'm not a fan as I'm aware of his limitations that are very frustrating. But I'm a realist, and TFG aren't going to provide the money that would be needed to update this squad in one window or to be able to attract the standard of manager who'd have basically what would be this group challenging for trophies. Everyone who wants Moyes gone then suggests alternatives that aren't realistically coming here. Another season of stability is hardly the worst thing in the world.

Just wait till West Ham go down. The tidal wave of 'Careful what you wish for' will be a sight to behold.
Our own fans who bring out the 'look at west ham' 'be careful what you wish for' shouts are the absolute worst.

How anyone can look at the transfer business Moyes oversaw and not blame him, at least partly, for leaving West Ham with the oldest squad in the league and the 8th-highest wage bill is beyond me.

There's a big difference between a straight yes or no to a transfer or being given a limited choice between player A B or C that other members of a committee propose. I'd imagine Dibling was proposed along with two others that Moyes may not have fancied either but was told he needed to pick one to cover for Afcon. The idea that we can attract another manager for next season who'll have basically what will be this squad suddenly passing the ball forward at every possible opportunity with full backs bombing down the lines zipping in crosses and turning over the top six sides is laughable.
Ok, bud. It's a big conspiracy. Like chemtrails and Elvis' chippy.
