There’s absolutely nothing wrong with bringing in young players to develop with a high ceiling. After years of signing the likes of Rooney, Walcott, Sigurdson etc, it’s a strategy that makes a lot of sense.

But it isn’t a strategy that is going to wok with Moyes. He doesn’t trust young players and won’t develop them.

So if you want to bring in young players with a high ceiling, the owners have a decision to make, because it won’t work under this set up.

Time to part ways. He should go the second the season ends. I've tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but he never, ever, ever learns. He's just incapable of change. We had it all to play for and with his subs in the Derby, his selection today and slowness of subs, he's chucked away any bit of momentum and optimism we had.
