2025/26 David Moyes

Or if Pickford got shrunk to the size of a carrot, or if aliens landed on the pitch, or if a mega earthquake followed by a mega tsunami destroyed the west coast of England. Reactions to completely hypothetical scenarios are utterly pointless unlike the reaction to actually going out of the cup in real life which should be one of great disappointment to all Evertonians.
I'm no maths guy but I'd be interested to see which out of the scenarios we have both listed would be more likely to occur

I didnt write a single excuse, I merely gave my view on the nights events.

I dont even care we lost, we were never gonna win it anyway, we wont win anything else in my lifetime, ive made my peace with that.
This ^^^^ is also why we haven't won a trophy since 1995.

People are talking about us definitely winning the League Cup though and defo finished 10th -12th, chances are slim, very slim - we’ve never won the thing in our illustrious history. Colour me shocked we’re knocked out. It’s always been a cursed competition for us.

We had 95 mill euro in investment in new signings on show tonight, clearly not good enough, time to cut our losses, start again, let someone else develop them - *binary statements are fun!
Who's talking about us definitely winning the League Cup? People were simply hoping for a run and to beat the worst team in our division. How very dare they.

The competition isn't cursed. We simply don't pick our best team often enough to maximise our chances of beating even poorer sides than us.

Made up statements are even more fun.

But that’s daft mate come on now, he gave game time to the likes of Dibling and Alcatraz, he wasn’t deliberately tanking the cup, he’ll have been as annoyed as the rest of us
Don't think anyone has a problem with Dibling & Alcaraz starting.

Its picking Coleman , McNeil & Tim before our better players people are irked about.
That is not good management.
