2025/26 David Moyes

This must be a misprint as they have missed off Manager of the Season, the all conquering Moyes.

Manchester United have a five-man shortlist of managers who could replace caretaker Michael Carrick in the summer - Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner, Aston Villa's Unai Emery, Andoni Iraola of Bournemouth, former Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi and Germany manager Julian Nagelsmann.

😃😃😃
That's a very strange list that just shows Man Utd don't really have any kind of plan tbh, Glasner for one is never going to work with the structure setup at Utd so I think you can count him out tbh.

I do agree with this.

The players we were heavily linked with in the summer obviously looked at the basket case the club was in for the many years previously.
That doesnt mean they made the right decision refusing to come here . McAtee , Delap , Fofana , Tete even Soucek have hardly pulled up any tree's this season in fact some have had shocking seasons
Think we will be a totally different proposition this summer.

They will have obviously seen the impact & progress KDH & Grealish have made to the side plus keeping hold of our best players.

Win / Win for the Moyesettes today.

We win and they can revel in euphoric ‘told you so’ rapture at a unifying victory against Arsenal for the second time in 21 attempts (1st in 12 for Everton)

Lose and they can wheel out the completely unsubstantiated ‘you’re happy we lost today’ or ‘you wanted us to lose’ at anyone who dares to criticise Glorious Leader.

Begs the question, who is actually self satisfied when Everton lose?

I'm quite looking forward to the possibility of tens of blues in here stomping their feet and grabbing pitch forks if we fail to beat the league leaders away.

They won't look ridiculous at all.

What a strange post. Did you sleep through the period where Moyes went to Manchester United and got sacked?

Mate it will look far stranger when they start screaming and pissing the bed if we get a result away at the league leaders.
Having spent a few relaxing days away from the drama, I have a different spin on it. If Everton win today I will be ecstatic that my team won. I follow the team. If they are winning the manager can have his plaudits and his fans, I dont care. I can support the team without having to kiss the ring of the current manager, not a completely weird concept.

Couldn’t agree more, I think this is how normal people would think.

Getting a win away at the league leaders is mathematically improbable. Most people understand that. Decent performance and fingers crossed is a realistic hope

Tactics board in the background of his Sky Sports interview says it all ffs.

I have a sneaky feeling for us today, I think its more to do with my hatred for Arsenal and them being a modern day Wimbledon.

This lot are running very very close to them lot across the park as my most hated team.
