We have no full backs to support the wingers.Because the wingers were offering nothing and we were getting overrun in midfield. Simples.
Jake is a really good centre half but unfortunately as poor a right back as there is in the league. He looks completely lost in the position.I reckon that’s a stretch but fair enough mate.
Magnificent? Ehh...eh? he was magnificent whenever he played
And?We have no full backs to support the wingers.
Hence why they are not in it.And?
Aye I’d not play him at home at right back but the Everton response last have an hour has been a collective thing not just Garner going to right back mate.Jake is a really good centre half but unfortunately as poor a right back as there is in the league. He looks completely lost in the position.
They are putting up a fight to their credit. I don't think Moyes lost the locker room or anything like Dyche and others did. I just think he is very average which is fine for this year. Just about hovering expectations. You can tell we lack the pace/width and end product in the final 3rd though which is largely due to our summer transfer window. Other teams can turn the game on its head because of their pace. We really struggle to do that despite our ability to dominate periods. If anything we open ourselves up more by screwing around too much with the ball.Everton have done loads better reduced to ten men that I thought they would, considering Bournemouth were way on top when O’Brien went.
Players showing good character.
Every Everton fan in the world knows this, yet our esteemed transfer committee decided that the only business we needed to do in January was to sign a winger, because we don’t want to play the £30m winger we signed in the summer. Then when he needs to sub off the new winger, he replaces him with a central midfielder. Genius.Jake is a really good centre half but unfortunately as poor a right back as there is in the league.
I honestly think it's a massive problem for us. Garner is a good footballer and it makes all the differenceAye I’d not play him at home at right back but the Everton response last have an hour has been a collective thing not just Garner going to right back mate.
