2024/25 David Moyes

He gave up.

He would have 100% relegated us.

The players gave up.

He had to take the painful choice to do what was right for the club rather than him.

Anyway, this is old ground.

The notion that Dyche who'd run up 48 points in a season would have struggled to get nowhere near the paltry total we have now is for the birds.

Well he relegated Burnley twice, so it's not that unbelievable.

But anyway, he's a radio presenter now, so it doesn't matter.

In Moyes we trust.

Possibly not for much longer, rumours suggest he might be in line for the Sunderland job, can't see it myself as they have a young squad with lots of technical players, the complete opposite of what Dyche stands for.

The paltry total we have now is a direct result of Dyche getting 17 points from the first 19 games 🤷‍♂️

Moyes will do what's best for himself first and Everton second, look at how he refused to sign his contract before leaving for Man U.
The idea that he will go on to have supervision over the direction of football at this club makes me feel sick.
It might make you feel sick but I'm only guessing what might happen.

We are already pretty stable in our rot…no need to stabilise any further..
You really think we're stable at the moment? We need 15 players contracts sorting through either renewing, getting rid or buying replacements. In my eyes we are anything but stable until the squad is sorted for next season, the big question is do you trust moyes to carry that out or do we employ someone else to do it. Sometimes even if you don't like the answer you just have to accept it that TFG are more likely to see Moyes as a safe pair of hands.
