2024/25 David Moyes

As I have said before I didn't want Moyes back.. but can't argue with results and he's saved us. Dyche may have saved us but it would have been squeaky bum time... Moyes has made a massive difference
I was on the fence about him coming back...but one thing I'll always say is am more than happy to be proved wrong when it comes to us.

He's done a brilliant job.

what moyes has done is completely change my way of thinking with Everton and hopes for the future

I was certain we were going the way of Villa or Sunderland in recent years, manage to survive for a few years but consistently be the worst side in the league that doesn’t go down, ending with an inevitable relegation

I even thought it might do us good, strip everything back, make us realise what we had, hopefully win some silverware on our way back up at some point

Now I’m not even thinking about relegation for next year, I’m looking at a squad that will go into an amazing new stadium with momentum and a strong team spirit, that could be a really attractive proposition for new signings, and that with some decent investment and some marquee signings up front and in the key areas for improvement, could be challenging for Europe very soon

Same, i assumed he could do a job, but didnt want him. They(Moyes and co) have all done much better than i expected and i was happy to be wrong. Wouldnt be to upset if he stayed for a season or two to make sure the ship has been corrected properly

Looking back how can he justify those tactics (even to himself) the first half of the season.

He's justified them all his managerial career.
It wasnt tongue in cheek when i said he thought he was at Burnley. He couldnt quite grasp why he wasnt getting the same response and praise to a 0-0 at Everton than he did at Burnley. It was a great result at turf moor.
Different club. Same mentality.
