2024/25 David Moyes

The thing is, we can question managers’ persistence with Doucoure all we like, but the fact he’s sprinting from his own half in the 93rd minute and getting on the end of chances kind of shows why he’s in the team.

We simply don’t have many players with that engine.

He makes me want to rip my eyes out at times, but he’s one of the main reasons teams haven’t been overrunning us in the middle this season.

…spot on, I call it powers of recovery. All legs and arms, hate playing against players like that, it hurts when they catch you as well. The defenders in the team will love him. Frustrating as hell in possession, though.

You’re in no position to call anyone nasty the way you’ve been responding particularly to a senior of the forum like @Eggs

You realise thats their persona?

As you state, RESPONDING to their disgraceful comments about me NOT being an Evertonian.

How would you respond to some stranger on the internet constantly saying you werent an Evertonian?

Poor them eh? Jesus wept.

God you’re so arrogant, you don’t even see why. The day any football fan doesn’t celebrate a 93rd winner is the day football dies, it doesn’t matter if you don’t agree with a tactic or a sub or a team selection, in that moment all that matters is your team has won a game

That’s why you got called out, yet you go personal and frankly ageist against a guy who’s seen this club of ours do more than you ever will in a lifetime

Lost 1 league game since jan 15th against the team top of the table. Held our own in every game.
From what he walked into if there was a manager of the season award for half a season he'd be in the running.
Mad season in respect of aug/jan i cringed at my team going into games and offering nothing. now im like to anyone c,mon on then. We'll take you on.
Cant tell you how good it feels opposition teams now know they've got Everton and they will get tested.
Thats all on Moyes.

….i like that we’re known as ‘Toffees’, not sure any other club has such a high-profile and well-known nickname.

UTFT.
I like how low-key and unassuming that nickname is, too.

We’re not going for something preposterously aggrandising like “the Red Devils,” or “the Gunners.”

Just a bit of confectionary that’s quite a pleasant word to say.

Absolutely correct. I wanted Dyche gone and almost anyone but Moyes to come in. Clearly totally wrong. Makes you realise how broken we've been this last 5/10 years that eventually simply getting a decent experienced manager is transformational.

As others posted, YOU DIDNT WATCH THE GAME.

Praising Moyes for his terrible team selection.

The team only clicking into gear after Alcaraz (who you dont seem to rate) and Beto (who you dont rate) got onto the pitch.

But praising Doucoure...over and over after 93mins of embarassment -- then spouting how he was man of the match.

Yet claiming youre a better Evertonian than others because you cheered a meaningless goal.

You keep relaying your stories about playing football and living in a road of Everton footballers...football for dummies eh.

Youre more of a Moyes arselicker than anyone on here.

YOU DID NOT WATCH THE GAME.

Deservedly won away from home against the side currently 3rd in the league.

Wtf are you on about.

Everton will finish 11-17th.

There is NOTHING to play for
.

I am a stranger on the internet that you're trying to guess the thoughts of :)

As I have constantly repeated, Moyes should be playing those who will be able to make a positive impact next season.

This is not Harrison or Broja. As for Doucoure hes starting ahead of superior players.

Pretty obvious that my point is a logical one.
That is completely irrelevant! I wasn’t at the game I was working, but when my goal alert went off on my phone and we’d scored in the 94th minute I was running around my work place like a lunatic! My co-workers thought I’d lost the plot and was having a breakdown. It literally has made my entire weekend. I find a supporter not celebrating an injury time winner away from home against a side in champions league places totally bizarre. I personally take each game on its own merit and enjoy and celebrate ANY win when it comes regardless of where we are in the table. Each to their own I guess.
