2024/25 David Moyes

Incredible job he’s done, absolutley invredible. I can’t say I agreed with the starting 11 but they got the job done and played really well, suppose thats why I’m not a footy manager 🤣 and a last minute winner is boss any time!

Keep going Davey and the lads, still some tough games coming, especially the next two, but we shouldn’t fear anyone.

I'm all for constructive criticism, even when we win, but jesus that was a fantastic result against a very good side this season, let's enjoy it for now.

Could things be altered? yeah sure, i do think we needed a win because of the 1 win in 9 thing, but we're basically one win away from being mathematically safe, and we can plan for the future.

Very good team performance and very good win.

COYB.

Bar Ndiaye i dont see how the front 4 he selected was set up to win the game.

Nor do i see it as laying the foundation for next season?

3/4 of them shouldnt be at the club
Seen the comments and I do agree with you to an extent about it, the game was crying out for McNeil from 60 mins onwards but to be fair I thought Harrison had a very good game from 20 mins onwards. He was a threat and was getting the ball in the box and using both feet for once and was causing them problems.

I was frustrated that he had kept Doucoure on, he wasn't playing particularly well and as above think he should have gone off for McNeil and put Alcarez behind the striker. Would love to see McNeil Alcarez and Ndiaye starting a game soon to see if and how it would work but all that said there is not a chance in the world that I wouldn't cheer a Everton goal, let alone one in the last minute away to 3rd in the Prem. I was jumping around the living room like most Everton fans would have been. It is fine to be annoyed and frustrated about managers decisions but equally Moyes can now say it was a master class keeping him on and win us the game and I can easily eat humble pie and agree with him. Essentially I want to see Everton win and yesterday we did that.

I just think at times people have lost sight of what it is to be part of a "Club" and to support the "Club" to not celebrate goals or results because certain decisions aren't in line with how you want them to be is a massive shame and shows a huge disconnect.

I genuinely blame the internet for it all.
Yeah this sums it up I think. I support Everton. No matter what. No individual or decision is ever likely to change that.

I even appealed for that Rodri pen and somewhat celebrated the Barkley goal. I couldn't fathom not celebrating a 94th minute winner because "it doesn't matter"

I love being part of this Club,Love everything about it,The Team,Goodison,Fans, the history...it's important to never lose sight of that even if you don't agree certain things.

The thing is, we can question managers’ persistence with Doucoure all we like, but the fact he’s sprinting from his own half in the 93rd minute and getting on the end of chances kind of shows why he’s in the team.

We simply don’t have many players with that engine.

He makes me want to rip my eyes out at times, but he’s one of the main reasons teams haven’t been overrunning us in the middle this season.
