Think we are seeing that moyes and Dyche have the same problem. It’s the lack of ability in the squad.
Dyche believed he could keep up by backing the defence… Moyes has got an extra bit out of the team but we are back to a goals and point a game after a new manager bounce.
This isn’t a criticism of Moyes, we just need investment

We are seeing that Moyes has got more points in 12 games than Dyche got in 19 is what we’re seeing. With actually less players available to him thanks to an injury crisis that we’re only just now coming out of.

How are we going places with 12 players in the squad.

Cos you said there is no cash to spend.
They'll dig in for wages to existing players and small fees for up and coming players financed from the sale of Branthwaite or someone else.

That's because of PSR.

Once that's ditched then spending in sufficient amounts will happen. Also, cash from the stadium will start filtering through.

He wanted Gareth Southgate appointed in January.

I'd be looking to bring in Southgate if Moyes doesn't get a grip of this in the next few games - if he'd come.

As a last throw of the dice to keep us in this league he makes sense.

He'd have the respect of players and we'd get that bounce we need to get over the line.

He should have been brought in before Moyes.

I can only think he must have been approached and rejected the move.

Cash wise I'd make him an offer he couldn't refuse and for whatever length of contract he wanted.

My only desire is to see Everton safe.

Moyes wont do it and these players need a boost. Southgate would hand us it. Illd hand these players self belief. And boy do they need it.

If we're not spending...and it looks like that's the case - these players need motivating and I dont see a figure like Moyes being inspirational...in fact he's told those players they are not quality players and we need quality in.

I just think a manager like Southgate could inspire. He's got credibility as an ex-England manager...one of the better ones....and he'd turn a few matches our way.

I could see players wanting to get out on the pitch for him.

Not sure where you think PSR is going.

It might change its guise, but it will be around for a while.

If recruitment is right I'm expecting a European challenge. Will let you know in September if we achieved that.

I fully trust Moyes with that cash as well. I think he's very shrewd and will have us very well run and hopefully pushing for top half within the next few seasons

We'll attract a manager who wants to manage a club going places with stability and that new stadium and our state of the art training facilities.

Cash will come after the hoax that is PSR is finally binned.

Few weeks back you'd have just replied iraola because he'd won a few games. Now he's gone off the boil a bit you cant even muster a name lol. Just some standard Alan Partridge like comment.
Basically. You havent got a clue.
keep fishing Dave lol.

think we have struggled with an injury crisis all season.
I’m not taking anything away from Moyes because there has been an upturn but he is dealing with what Dyche did. It is hard to create anything consistently with this side.
Teams like Vila and forest have clearly spent money to take them to the next level. Both teams rolled the dice and it worked, but it is small margins and can go wrong.
Villa now have squad capable of competing two days a week.

Neither Moyes or Dyche have had that. We have an 11 they can grind results out. But beyond that there isn’t enough surprises in the squad.

…but I think they’ll want to build from a foundation of stability.

The bottom clubs are very poor but beyond that the league is much of a muchness, probably a dozen teams you can throw a blanket over. Finishing around the top of that group would make a huge difference in the short-term.
Not sure this true.
united, city, RS, arsenal, spurs, Chelsea, Brighton, Newcastle, Villa, forest have squads that will take us 4 transfer windows of solid investment to get close too consistently.

It's crazy, we have some fans demanding he experiment and the games don't matter now we safe.

And others fans saying he needs results cos his job is in danger.

Just mental.

Most of you deserve Dyche you know.
Yes, and in the ven diagram of those groups there will be some overlap and those people are crazy but the much larger groups will be those demanding he experiment but aren't concerned about the results and another, completely separate, group who are very concerned with results and do not want experimentation. GoT is a broad church.
