I for one am throughly enjoying this boring period after the horror of the last few seasons. He's worked miracles since coming back, squeezing every last drop out of several very poor/average at best players.

Think now is a good opportunity to stop playing Doucoure in the #10, and to give some other lads a go to see if they have a future here. He did that yesterday with Patterson when he could've easily played Young. Patterson took his chance and played well.

Yeah, I doubt you watch Everton.

You seen what Moyes is dealing with here?

Jack Harrison would sit on the bench for the Dog and Duck.

Your nipple fella has been there 2 years, built his squad and he cant win a game in 6.

As I say, let Spurs take him, Moyes is at the wheel here.
Moyes will build a team...over ten years.

I say we can do better than the minty cardy wearing dullard.

We’re playing better teams now and don’t have much to play for, not to mention our poor squad so I’m not surprised we’ve dropped off.

Bournemouth had a real chance of Europe and it looks like they might have blown it.
Better players and that doesn't happen to Iraola.

Iraola is another flavour of the month manager like hundreds of others who've come and gone down the years.

Moyes will still be managing in the Prem when Iraola in back in Spain managing in Segunda B.

Moyes isnt the 3rd longest serving manager in Premier League history for nothing.
He took Sunderland down and turned United from perennial champions to the mess they're in right now.

Of course we can do better.

I just dont think Nipple is it.

Moyes ISNT the best manager in the world, that might shock you, but for me, hes probably the best suited to take THIS Everton side to its next step.

As ive said, at some point, results will go bad and all you Moyes haters will be like "SEEE, TOLD YOU HE WAS RUBBISH", cos lets be honest, its not 2003, ita a different PL and Moyes is unlikely to take us as far as he did last time.

That wont stop you crowing when it happens, but hey ho.

If we had better players, we probably don’t drop off either. I don’t think Moyes will stay long term but there’s no reason for him to go this season after the job he’s done. The full focus should be on improving the squad. If that happens and results don’t improve next season, we can question Moyes at that point.

more I think about the appointment the more I think it’s interim unless gets us into Europe and ultimately the champions league.
Can’t see TFG have spent the money they have to finish ‘best of the rest’™️
Even if they ‘only’ spend £50-100m in the summer, they’re going to be looking for better than 7th to mid table next season imho, so we will see what Moyes is made of now days.
TFG want to make money from their investment. That’s it. The Americans at Liverpool have hardly been drowning that side in cash.

Owners can only give realistic goals to managers. That said, unrealistic expectations is the reason so many coaches get fired so regularly for no apparent benefits.

Football management is the only profession where people are not expected to learn and improve, and instead just get cut loose whenever things hit a sticky patch.

The old dynasties had ups and downs. Now people get fired after the first down and never see the ups!

The Count of monti Bisto ruined Sunderland.

Senior Pro's wouldn't allow Moyes to do his job at United Rooney said it himself.
Moyes crapped the bed at every club he touched after Everton, till he went to West Ham, where he won them their first trophy in ages, gave a Championship team a run in Europe.

He deserves a crack at next season and anybody with any sense can see that.

Will it work? Who knows, we need to get recruitment spot on in the Summer.

Till then we have 8? more games of nothing on the line to look forward to, after the last few years, I would snatch your hand off for that.

I've always stated Moyes lost my trust when he criticised fans over Kenwright....and then his Judas performance.

Never forgiven or forgotten.

As much as that as the cowardly football against 'top' teams for me.
