My only concerns and issues with moyes is a) the style of football - His football was/is quite 'functional' wasnt it if I remember correctly, bit of hoofball? how different do you think his football style is to Dyche's? and b)he deliberately ran his contract down and was obvious he had been in talks in with Fergie/Utd and tried to blag he wasn't - suppose that can be termed 'water under the bridge' now. Would have liked a more adventurous appointment, but the owners probs thought that's too risky for the position we are in.

Moyes' 'style' is far and away easier on the eye than Dyche's, let's be real. Whether it will yield instant results obviously remains to be seen.

I think we actually played some good football with Moyes. The issue for me was he reverted to functional football when it came to the top sides. I never felt he had the confidence to go for it in tougher games. The football under Moyes was light years away from the last couple of seasons. On the whole though it was good even exciting to watch at times. The way he left admittedly wasn't great but I wasn't too bothered at the time. I felt it was time for a change for both the club and him kind of like we'd taken it as far as we could so a change for both was needed.

I'm not really talking about how happy they should be with the appointment or the volume of content produced, just the focus on him being some sort of returning hero. Posting stuff like 'the story continues' is a bit weird for me for someone like Moyes coming back, i'm just surprised they're running with that angle so much rather than him just being a decent appointment in his own right.
It’s only because they haven’t got any decent staff working on the socials and that. It’s probably being written by some kid who was still in nappies when Moyes left. Same as loads of places - get the junior staff to do the social media even if they’ve no clue what they’re writing about.

One thing about Moyes been back is that the first time sinnce he left, there will be someone in charge who will look after the best interests of the club. Is he the exciting manager we craved for? Certainly Not. But he is the right one for now. Hopefully he gets a few players in and can kick us on.
