Moyes > Dyche. It's not pretending that we have a better manager now, it's fact. Moyes can do wonders on a shoestring. Maybe that's why TFG have appointed him. PSR constraints aren't for marquee managers. Please don't be disillusioned that we suddenly do not have any financial restrictions. The squad we have is what we have, with the exception of a few potential signings/loans (once loanees are sent packing - ahem..... Harrison). I for one prefer a safe approach. I'm not denying he did a decent job on a shoestring. But we always go poundshop when we should be aiming higher. Moyes has done nothing since he left us apart from win some Mickey Mouse conference European thingy.

I don’t get why people slag off the Europa conference league trophy tbh. Most clubs win nothing, because there’s not that much to win in general, the league, the FA Cup and the Carabou Cup is all.

A European cup at any level is bloody hard to win and clubs should be falling over themselves to win it. I remember seeing Spurs fans slag it off years ago and say they didn’t care about it. Spurs fans! A team who have won bugger all for decades!

The idea that any club who have won nothing for decades are somehow too good for that competition is utterly laughable.

It’s small steps at the minute. We’re on our knees as a club, in order to start to obtain a semblance of stability we need a manager that we don’t have to sack mid season to save us from the drop. We haven’t had one of those since Ancelotti. All Moyes has to do is be that, and then we can shake his hand and move forward as a club. People need to knock the idea of trophies right on the head now though, it isn’t actually 2013 anymore. We’re in a totally different position as a club.
