Counterpoint, he's made it clear now that we are targeting a higher class of player across the squad not just looking at adding one name player and the rest dross - Moyes isn't an idiot he knows exactly what and why he's said that. Hope being now when you approach a player they see a club trying to add multiple players of a high level

When has Moyes ever stopped talking Everton down though?

It's been his trademark ever since he arrived at Everton in 2002.

Partly or selling it well enough but to players who are also having other projects sons to them or waiting on interest from sides who right now don't need to have a project.

I'm not worried as if now, firmly believe once one comes in it'll see a few others signing up for it too. But just requires us to hold our nerve and not suddenly 180 to a panic mode of brining in anyone

Well West Ham are in a tricky spot, because they’ve wasted a fortune in the last 5yrs and a lot of that was on Moyes. I’d expect our owners and recruitment team to be better that the dildo brothers

I don't think another 6 is unrealistic. I think we'll probably get 2 of them on deadline day though.

See Chelsea have spent again, over £250m again, while Moyes is digging up his magic beans, well maybe not that bad but this league is done as a fair competition. It is impossible to keep up when you're getting outspent by considerable sums each window.

I mean how many players do Chelsea need, seems Toddy has a real life version of Football manager.

He's already complained about the playing surface. The atmosphere will likely be next, something along the lines of "Goodison was our home for so long, and we knew what to expect there. It'll take some time for the team to get used to this stadium, look at what happened at Arsenal when they left Highbury". Nobody loves managing expectations more than oor Davey.
