He's not the answer for us. And he would have wilted in that season we had 2 points deductions, so never mind Dyche...
Nah, it's not.
Forest had a traumatic time last year and this year they are flirting with CL.
Why waste time? Plan A, please.
Going to be in a right pickle if we keep him on, signs a bunch of players and then clear him off at the end of next season.
Not making it a Moyes v Dyche thing, but making a point of being the same team and Moyes hauled us away from the danger zone with plenty to spare. Now my comparison is that Dyches team was crap with poor players and so is Moyes team but regardless of the wishes of Everton fans wanting so & so dropped and so & so playing together he still gets a mauling despite games being dead rubbers. So what shall he do? Look at all the squad (what many fans wanted) or stick with players that many wanted dropped. The season is safe and the season is over, half the team are not fit for the shirt but the polishing of a turd is still expected.Making it a moyes v dyche thing is just daft though. Moyes is a better manager than dyche and always has been but the fact is we got safe quickly off the back of a new manager bounce and the bottom 3 stopping picking up points at the same rate as they had been. After a great start we’ve gone straight back to very similar levels as we’ve seen under the last 3 managers. We’ve won 2 out of 10 home games since Moyes came, 2 of our last 13 games in all competitions, only kept 1 clean sheet in the same timeframe etc. He’s done fine but the reality is things haven’t actually changed that much. If people were giving dyche protests it’s only fair that they ask some questions of Moyes too, as although he’s clearly made us better to watch etc, the difference in results is starting to level out quite quickly.
Your having a laugh. Look at the points tally under Lampard then Dyche's first season here we were left with a mountain to climb in January. There is no way you can say he would have “wilted” he has the same squad and has got them scoring on most games and picking up more points.
Chances are we would have been nowhere near the relegation zone last year if he had started the season with us .
The points deductions would not have had us fighting for our lives
13 points from the last 12 games, very much in keeping with the type of form we’ve shown over the last 3/4 years, almost as if that’s the level these players are capable of.
And Ipswich, united, and West Ham (all below us) at home and wolves (also below us) away. So in other words, a pretty standard run of fixtures.Chelsea away, Arsenal , Liverpool , city and high flying Forrest in that run though .

Moyes wasn't under anywhere near that pressure this January. We were safe and had half a season left...with no points deductions.
Moyes has done nothing special since he came back. We can all see that now.
Moyes did what he was asked: kept us up - and did it quickly. Fair dues.
The job is different now. We need a reboot. If the Friedkins are genuinely ambitious and competent, they would have had a plan that they would not have wanted to activate until the summer had Dyche not jacked it in. He did, so they needed a stopgap - somebody to get us safe. Job done. Time now for the original plan. If they had one...
You don’t need to tell me the squads poor, that’s my whole point. I understood the squad was poor when dyche was here but a hell of a lot of people kept telling me it wasn’t and we were massively underachieving. My point is just that if you thought that was the case then then you still should now. I think Moyes is doing fine because I think this is how good the squad is, but if you were saying we were a top half side - which plenty were - then you shouldn’t be saying failing to beat Ipswich at home is just one of them things now.Not making it a Moyes v Dyche thing, but making a point of being the same team and Moyes hauled us away from the danger zone with plenty to spare. We had a game in hand too...and we were never the basket case clubs below us. We were hardly on the receiving end of a defeat. Draws did for Dyche. We were 1 point above the relegation zone and scoring around 3 goals every 10 games …
How on gods green earth were we “safe”
